Regata House

Posted by in Architecture, Contemporary

A stunning property located in Noosaville, Australia, the Regata House is a gleaming white building that offers splendid views of Noosa Hills and the nearby ocean, thanks to its advantageous positioning on top of an elevated block.

The house is designed for both entertaining and family living offering a host of rooms and beautiful lounge areas. This large home has a modern feel throughout, a theme that is also seen in the finishing and decoration of the building. The exterior is silver white, reflecting most of the heat aimed at it while creating an unmissable presence. The white color theme is also seen on the interior with white paint and white tiling comprising most of the spaces.

The two story house is made of four bedrooms, three and a half bathrooms and some impressive open planned living and lounge areas. Another impressive element of the Regata House is its wraparound pool that creates an interesting contrast with the white finish of the exterior. The simple lines of the exterior are also seen on the interior with more importance being placed on the quality of the craftsmanship.

The entrance is unmistakable as it leads into a double height atrium that really gives a strong impression on the scale of the building. Large windows create an easy flowing environment adding even more natural light to this already beautifully lit building. The wooden staircase is a great addition as it contrasts the pale white of the tiled flooring and walls.

The comfortable living and eating area that can be easily accessed from the double height atrium creates an amazing bond with the outside thanks to the sliding glass wall that basically brings the outside landscaping inside.

The kitchen is all white with some frosted glass element creating a clean, almost sterile contrast. The lines are simple and all the fittings are modern, specially designed to fit the white-and-light theme of the Regata House.

The living area leads to a large terrace that in turn leads to the wraparound pool, creating a continuous, opened bond feel throughout the ground floor of the house. Another living area is situated on the first floor, allowing great views of the Noosa Mountains as well as the ocean.

The master bedroom is just as impressive size wise as the rest of the house with enough space for some extra seating, even a comfortable couch. The en-suite bathrooms distinguish this house as a truly luxurious palace offering an immense space with full height tiling and numerous other features.
